Balloon Twisting FAQs

QiBear balloon twisting starts at AUD 160–180 for a 1-hour package (the exact rate depends on travel distance and how intense the session is). Popular packages are 2 hours for AUD 275 and 3 hours for AUD 400. For multi-hour bookings the first hour is AUD 150 and each additional hour is AUD 125. No. Balloons, pumps and all materials are included in your booking fee. During your session we create as many balloon twists as time allows — every child can take home their own creation at no extra cost.

As a guide, one hour comfortably suits up to about 10 children, two hours up to 20, and three hours up to 30. Simple designs are quicker, so a group wanting elaborate characters may need a little more time. Tell us your headcount and we'll recommend the right package.

Weekend dates book out fastest, so we recommend reserving your balloon twister at least 2 to 3 weeks ahead, and earlier during peak seasons such as December and school holidays. If your event is soon, message us anyway — we sometimes have short-notice availability.

QiBear is based in Drewvale and serves Brisbane, Logan, the Gold Coast and Redcliffe. Travel is free within 15 km of Drewvale, AUD 30 for 15–40 km, and quoted on enquiry for areas further out such as the Gold Coast.

The quickest way is to email [email protected] or send an SMS to +61 402 836 318 with your date, suburb, event type and approximate number of children. We'll confirm availability and the total, including any travel fee, before your event.

Very little. A small table and roughly a 2 x 2 metre area is perfect, indoors or outdoors. We bring our own pump and materials, so you only need to point us to a shaded, level spot where kids can line up safely.

Yes — we regularly twist at outdoor birthdays, markets and community festivals. Balloons prefer shade over direct sun and heat. For wet-weather days we simply need a covered area such as a marquee, patio or indoor room, as latex balloons don't hold up in rain.

Absolutely. Share your colours, mascot or the characters your child loves — from superheroes and Hello Kitty to Pokemon, Labubu and princesses — and we'll tailor the balloon creations to suit the celebration.

We do. Alongside live balloon twisting, QiBear makes custom balloon bouquets and party decor such as balloon garlands, number displays and themed backdrops. These can be ordered on their own or added to a twisting booking.
